Last weekend we took Maggie to the pool in our neighborhood. Lets just say that she loved it! 30 minutes in the pool and she ended up sleeping for about 12 straight hours that night (went to bed a few hours early as well). Maggie loves her walker. We try to get out every evening for some walking. She is just about too big for it, but she is not that crazy about trying to walk on her own yet. We know she will do it when she is ready.

9 month update

We took Maggie to the doctor for the 9 month checkup and she is
officially 30 inches long and 19 pounds and 2 ounces. She is 50th
percentile for weight and still 95th percentile for height.

Yesterday was Maggie's 12 week anniversary. She is really changing every day. She has started to make a lot more noises and has been able to support her own head more. She is so cute all the time (except when she is crying), but we are loving her more everyday.

Maggie's checkup

Today we had the 2 month checkup for Maggie, and she is doing great.
She weighs 11 pounds, and measured in at a length of exactly 24 inches.

She also had a few vaccinations and that is the cause of the bandaids
on her legs. She is doing great.

Oh yeah, she is not screaming, just yawning.

Maggie had a lot of fun during her visit to see Gigi and Pappy (grandparents in Oklahoma City). She is a lot more alert, and we are pretty sure she is trying to smile (on purpose) in the first picture.

Magnolia starts daycare today

We got her all dressed up to go to her first day of daycare. It is
actually playcare and the advantage is that we only have to pay for
the days that we use it. If we make a reservation for a day and we
don't need it, the pre-paid hours are saved for future use.

Holly is going to drop her off and go up to the office today.

It started off a bit rough because the owner is the only person with a
key and she was stuck in traffic on the way to work.

We went to the doctor today and Maggie is doing great! She weighs 9
pounds 4 ounces and she is 22.25 inches long. The doctor says her
feeding and sleeping habits are perfectly normal. Everything else is

A big walk around the neighborhood

Tonight, we took a large walk around the neighborhood. Up and down the

Last night, Maggie's umbilical cord fell off. It happened right after her bath. We were worried at first because it looked pretty gross (as expected), but in the morning, everything was okay with it. Once it heals up all the way, we will post pictures.
